Crepaldi è nato a Novara nel 1949. Si interessa al disegno giovanissimo dimostrando ottime qualità artistiche. Dopo aver compiuto studi in campo pubblicitario ed esperienze come
designer, si dedica completamente alla pittura.
Nel 1971 fonda il Centro Culturale Araldo con alcuni artisti novaresi.
Nel 1972 ottiene il primo premio "Abbazia San Nazzaro Sesia". Illustra il volume dei santi Nazzaro e Celso. Partecipa a trasmissioni in tv dove dipinge in diretta. Illustra il volume di poesie

EN: Luciano Crepaldi was born in Novara in 1949. He was interested in drawing at a very young age, demonstrating excellent artistic qualities. After completing studies in advertising and experience as a designer, he devoted himself completely to painting.
In 1971 he founded the Centro Culturale Araldo with some artists from Novara. In 1972 he was awarded the first prize "Abbazia San Nazzaro Sesia".
