Biografia
Luigi
Veronesi è nato nel 1908 a Milano. Formatosi tra gli anni
'20 e '30 in un clima di matrice costruttivista e bauhausiana, è l'unico, fra gli astrattisti italiani degli anni '30, a seguire fedelmente l'impostazione della Bauhaus, a ad avere precoce
fortuna anche all'estero.
Seguendo le orme del suo maestro, Moholy-Nagy, compie le prime ricerche
unitarie di un linguaggio astrattista non solo in pittura, ma anche nel cinema, nella scenografia, nella fotografia, nel design e nell'arte grafica.

Veronesi was born in
1908 in Milan. Trained between the '20s and '30s in a climate of constructivist and Bauhausian matrix, he is the only one, among the Italian abstractionists of the '30s, to follow faithfully the
Bauhaus' approach, to have early luck also abroad.
Following in the footsteps of his master, Moholy-Nagy, he
carried out the first unitary research of an abstract language not only in painting, but also in cinema, set design, photography, design and graphic art.
